Re: S601 parts...
Hey, Bob!
I will hold the body parts for you, as well as the lights (those are in rough shape, unfortunately).
When and where would you like to collect them?
And yes, I could never forget Tom and Kedren Toczic. They are wonderful people. I wish they still lived down in Baltimore.

Re: S601 parts...
Cool man, the lights are in better shape than mine, Aparently someone honed in their bb gun skills on my rabbit, rabbit survived lights sadly didn't.
If you wanna catch Tom this weekend is the annual TMI camping meet. We'll be leaving from Lancaster at 2pmish from Toms and riding up to Camp Hill for a night of freakishly weird behavior complete with a beer bungy contest. Its a big old camp site so bring a tent if free. Leaving to come back to lancaster around 9ish after breakfast! There's probably a good 10 or so going.

Re: S601 parts...
Tom, I just sent you a message.
Shane, thanks for the reply.
I knew about the exhausts in Australia, and could make one for myself if needed, but if I can find a reasonable used one, I'd go for it. Do you know if anyone is replicating the badges ? My superflow has the square speedo, a lot of plastic and the two lights on the handel bars so I assume it's a later one. It's in pretty good shape except the few missing parts and I doubt that I'll even repaint it, just clean it up and keep it as original as possible.
Cheers
Glen

Re: S601 parts...
Glen,
I can't make the Three Mile Island camping run, unfortunately, so will miss meeting you and catching up with Tom Toczik. I work at a scooter shop, and we are very busy this month.
There is a good chance that I will be at Tom and Anna's Bagel Brunch vintage scooter meet in New Rochelle, NY next month, and I can bring any Rabbit parts with me that are needed. That happens on Saturday, 15th of September.
Greg Clauss is doing some gorgeous reproductions of the Rabbit rubber, plastic, and emblems. They are available from his web site: claussstudios.com He also repros other scooter and motorcycle parts that aren't available elsewhere.

Re: S601 parts...
Hey Tom
I'm not going to be at either rally, I'm just in the process of moving so my weekends are full. It's amazing how much crap you collect when you've been in the same place for 10 years. Email me at [email protected] and I'll send you my address and I can just send you a money order. Which shop do you work at ?
I know about Clauss studios already, but he's not making repros of the "Rabbit" badges yet. I know that someone in Japan is but I don't think that it's Rabbit House.
Cheers
Glen

Re: S601 parts...
Okay, here are my Superflow parts that are promised so far:
Tom G.
petcock
fuel door
front blinkers
ignition lock
passenger floorboards
front seat pan
Tim from Australia
fuel gauge
Glen
fuel door
ignition panel
Benebob
body panels
headlight
Did I miss anything? I'll deliver Tom G's parts to him at the Bagel Brunch on 15 Sep., and am ready to ship the fuel gauge to Tim when he sends his address.
Glen and Benebob need to send me contact info or addresses so I can deliver or send the parts they need.
PayPal or trades are fine for the big stuff. Minor parts are free if you cover postage.
Still got parts left, but nothing to do witht he engines or transmission.

Re: S601 parts...
Hey, benebob,
The body panels are yours if you want to come and get them. No shipping, as they are so large. best offer.
They are in okay to good shape, but the chrome trim has all perished.

Re: S601 parts...
Guess you didn't get my pm back. Yeah, I want 'em or at least a couple so long as you're local friend still has interest in some of it as well. Tom was thinking of taking the trip down as well to catch up. Do you have everything else out that you'd need off the body or should I plan to bring down tools? Either way is cool, just wanna plan enough time with the wife. I'm away this weekend and have a wedding to go to next Sat but most evenings I can make the trek. Where around Baltimore are you at?

Re: S601 parts...
Hey!
The Rabbit is mostly still together, but I have plenty of tools to disassemble her.
Come down some evening during this week or next. Any evening is good for me, but I don't get home from work until around 7:30ish Tuesday through Friday.
We live right inside the beltway in NE Baltimore ina section called Parkville. I'll email you the address.
