Re: Manuals

Hey Rover Eric-

2 questions:

1: Do you have the parts manual (with all the exploded diagrams) for the 601? I have the manual (kindly copied by another Rabbit owner), but at some point a master copy was soaked by oil, which made the pages semi-transparent. Many of the pages on my copy have both sides of each page visible on both sides of each page.

This isn't anything some quality time with an "eraser" tool won't fix after scanning, but I thought I'd ask first in case you're in the process of scanning a copy that's clean.

2: Where are you with the scanning? If it's already done, I won't bother. I have the parts book for the S402, and I can scan it, but if it's already done, I won't bother...

Re: Manuals

Anybody made any progress on getting manuals up on line?
Anybody talked to the people who run scooterhelp.com? They've got a great site already. They might be willing to put scanned versions of the manuals up on their site. If not, we might be able to stick them up on Google Docs in the mean time.

Re: Manuals

Hey subbiemadman-

The 102 was never sold in the US, so I don't have a manual for it....I've never seen a manual for it in English.

Kouji sells the parts list (in Japanese):
s102 manual at Rabbit House

He mentions the existence of "pocket manuals" and user's guides, but he doesn't even mention a repair manual in existence.

His site shows that there's a 102, a 102A, and a 102E, but I can't see any info about what differentiates the models. In Japan, your scoot was apparently called a "Rabbit Scarlet".

I know that wasn't very helpful...but I wouldn't count on finding an S102 repair manual any time soon. emoticon On the bright side, this means your scooter is super-duper rare. emoticon

Oh, and I think I mentioned this before, but Kouji over at Rabbit House converted one of these to an electric scooter:

Electric Fuji Rabbit Scarlet
