JUST BROUGHT HOME TO MY HUTCH A 1954 S-48 AND CAN'T FIND ANY INFORMATION OF VALUE ! DESPERATELY NEED PARTS/ELECTRICAL/OWNERS MANUALS . I AM LOCATED IN NE OHIO. GOOD DETAILED PICTURES ! ANY HELP GREATLY APPRECIATED! THANKS,IN ADVANCE!!!

Wow. I'm jealous. The Rabbits didn't really start selling in serious numbers in the US until the 60s with the S402 and S601. The S-48 is a much older machine. I'm not even sure it was officially sold in the US. Looks like even Kouji Yamada, the guy who runs "Rabbit House" in Japan, doesn't have any parts or diagrams. He does sell the "pocket manual", but it's all in Japanese, so that probably wouldn't be very useful for you. He also has a few pics on his site. Looks like there were 4 versions of the S-48, but all had a 200cc 4-stroke.
